Between their staple Chicago beers and their mind-blowingly delicious food, our next beer sponsor is popular amoung the locals. A fan favorite, Revolution Brewing can be considered to be Chicago’s hometown craft brewery. Their brewpub in Logan Square is a bustling, neighborhood institution where friends and families meet to enjoy the freshest beer in town. They say that opening their brewery has been a labor of love. You can see that in everything they do ranging from the details of their carved fists holding up their mahogany bar to the pungent hop aroma of their Anti-Hero IPA to their creative dishes like our bacon-fat popcorn. We are so excited that they are a sponsor for this year’s Wedtoberfest!
What makes Revolution Brewing a uniquely Chicago brewery?
We are founded in Chicago, with our original brewpub in the heart of the historic and bustling Logan Square neighborhood, and our production facility and tap room in Avondale. Our founder and owner Josh has always been heavily involved in community development and actions, including chambers of commerce, food co-ops and public spaces.
Are there any new and exciting upcoming projects that you’d like to talk about?
We are in the midst of an exciting expansion at our production facility.
What prompted Revolution Brewing to sponsor Wedtoberfest/why are you excited to be a sponsor?
We love hosting weddings at our brewpub, and we are happy to be in the fun of Wedtoberfest!
With autumn just around the corner, what beer would be a nice seasonal option to serve at a fall wedding?
Our Oktoberfest is a wonderful fall option, being a traditional German-style lager that focuses on hops of the harvest.
If the wedding dinner options were beef, chicken and fish, which Revolution Brewing beers would you pair with each?
Beer pairing is actually best accomplished on seasonings and flavor profiles! Spicier foods are great with IPAs like Anti-Hero IPA; seafood and lemon-character dishes pair great with our Bottom Up Wit, and heartier dishes with more earthy flavor are wonderful with our Eugene Porter.
We raise our glasses to you, Revolution Brewing! Make sure to purchase your tickets to this year’s Wedtoberfest (happening September 17th) before it’s too late.
