If there’s one thing we appreciate most at Wedtoberfest, it’s good craftsmanship. Our sponsors are all very detailed, and care about the quality of their product. Today we’d like to introduce Old North Film Company, a local cinematic wedding videographer that exemplifies this idea of thoughtful artistry. They produce gorgeous wedding videos that allow couples to always remember their special day in the utmost detail.
Company background: We’re a tight knit team of passionate storytellers who are committed to beautiful and creative cinema. We believe that your love story deserves more than a cameraman capturing the events. That’s why we love creating wedding films that inspire more than inform, and we tell stories the way that they deserve to be told – from those small, quiet and beautiful moments that only you and your spouse will remember, to your grand exit captured in sweeping, cinematic detail.
What inspired you to start your business? We started Old North because we love filming cinematic stories. Weddings provide us with the opportunity to film people’s love stories 🙂
Why do you think Chicago is a great place to host a wedding? Chicago is great for weddings because of the variety! So many places and neighborhoods that have beautiful scenery and rich history. Also, you can’t beat the skyline in the background.
What do you think the benefits are of hiring a small business for a wedding rather than a large company? Hiring a small business provides that personal touch and connection that is so key for planning a great wedding.
What are a couple of your favorite beers? I’ll say Blue Moon and Green Bush’s Brother Benjamin
What’s your favorite way to enjoy a beer? I enjoy a beer after a long day of work with the guys at Old North while playing some hacky sack.
Why are you excited to sponsor Wedtoberfest this year? We love the vibe at Wedtoberfest and we know that it draws the types of relaxed bride and grooms that we love to work with.
Don’t miss the opportunity to chat with Old North Film Company over a couple of beers at Wedtoberfest on September 22!
