This year, Wedtoberfest has partnered with the Thirst Project. We are thrilled to be a part of their effort of bringing safe drinking water to communities in need. Learn more about Thirst Project’s mission and how you can get involved in ending the global water crisis too!
There are 663 million people in the world who lack access to safe, clean drinking water. By providing a community with safe drinking water, disease rates can drop by up to 88% virtually overnight. Thirst Project is committed to give the entire nation of Swaziland access to safe, clean drinking water by 2022!
Together with the Thirst Project, we are committed to end the global water crisis. With just a 50 cent donation, this can give one person clean water for a year; $25 can give one person clean water for life! Even better, ticket sales for each Wedtoberfest event will go to building a freshwater well that will serve a village of around 300-500 people for generations to come!
