What has been your favorite event from this past year?
We’ve loved all the events we have done this year, but I would say one of our most unique events was our Iceland wedding this past March. We worked with Chicago couple, David and Irene, to plan a very personalized wedding in breathtaking Reykjavik.
They wanted something intimate and natural. Without even meeting all their vendors or seeing their venue space beforehand, we executed a gorgeous night with a jazz band, an eight course meal, traditional Nordic wedding cake, and seasonal blooms and greens to accentuate the table. Oh, and guests enjoyed some of the best craft beer Iceland has to offer. Skál!

Please tell us about a recent piece of work that you are really proud of!
Naturally Yours Events are the planners behind Wedtoberfest. Earlier this year, we were tasked to create a lounge at Wedtoberfest’s sister show, IndieWed. We gathered a full team of amazing vendors and put together a funky, neon space pulling inspiration from Oktoberfest in Germany! In order to share all the fun, unique inspiration we organized a styled shoot that was recently featured in Green Wedding Shoes. Naturally Yours Events is thrilled to bring another Wedtoberfest to Chicago this Thursday, October 4th. This year, we are taking the beer festival vibes and wedding planning fun nationwide! We want to share Wedtoberfest’s unique take on a wedding show with couples and vendors in other cities like Minneapolis, Austin, Seattle and Denver.
