What have been your favorite events from this past year?
In Seattle we did the Charles Smith and Jet City Winery Open House. This event featured a variety of our rentals including dinnerware, tables, chairs, linen, event furniture and more! Photography by Dan’Yelle McNeely Photography.
In Vancouver we worked on the Face the World Foundation’s 28th annual gala. There was $700,000 raised for Vancouver’s most vulnerable. We sponsored the event and provided all of the rentals.
Simon Cooksley Event Design created a glamorous gold design complete with fabulous coral peony centerpieces. To achieve this look, Simon needed something that would make an impact and our Gold Glass Sequin Linen was the perfect choice! He paired it with our Gold Chivari Chairs, Gold Hampshire Flatware and Black Satin Napkins. To pull the design together and add a pop of colour, tall glass vases were topped with lush coral peonies and placed at the center of each table. The ocean views could be seen throughout room and the blue sky made the room sparkle. It was spectacular!

Please tell us about a recent piece of work that you are really proud of!
Pedersen’s played a big part in the show, I Do Sodo, taking on the Showbox Sodo venue and working with a team of vendors to create a design inspired by Stevie Nick’s hit, “Leather and Lace”. We don’t often act as the head planner in events, our usual contribution is a rental vendor so this was exciting for us to do. It was a great challenge because part of the room was styled in a leather theme and part was styled in a lace theme. Find more info here on the Pedersen’s blog.
What style of beer is your company and why?
If Pedersen’s was a beer, it would definitely be of the hoppy variety as we are sharp, we strive to operate in environmentally friendly ways, and we excel in helping create brilliant events with fresh designs!
Pedersen’s stays busy with both corporate and social events throughout the year. Learn more about their rentals and services at Seattle Wedtoberfest on Thursday, March 21st at WithinSodo! Get your tickets HERE so you don’t miss all the fun of this alternative wedding expo meets beer festival!
