Attendee FAQs

What is Wedtoberfest?
Wedtoberfest is an exciting alternative to the wedding planning process that combines a casual wedding expo with all the fun of a beer festival. Other wedding shows can feel overwhelming, pushy or look stale and generic. Wedtoberfest is a more casual, intimate, and easy-going expo. There will be food to sample, drinks to taste, and plenty of furniture to lounge on.

When and where is Wedtoberfest?
Check our events page for more information on our next event.

What types of vendors will be there?
We hand-pick vendors that best embody the vibe of this event, focusing on small and independent businesses who offer unique and non-traditional wedding services. Our goal is to showcase a few vendors of each category that offer diverse styles and price points to appeal to many different couples.

How does the beer part of Wedtoberfest work?
Attendees will receive a commemorative six-ounce tasting glass at the beginning of the event and tickets to enjoy five samples of beer. They can then choose one full pour of their favorite brew.

Is there only beer at this event?
No, we will offer non-alcoholic beverages and other boozy drinks for those who want to drink beyond the beer.

Is there food at this event?
Yes, there are small bites at this event. So don’t come starving, but do come prepared to try some tasty treats.

Do I have to be at least 21 to attend?
Yes, we ask that only guests 21 and over attend due to the nature of this event. ID will be checked at the door.

How do I prepare for the event?
We recommend you bring a notepad/pen to keep track of vendor details, wear comfy shoes to stroll around, and be prepared to chat with vendors! Additionally, because this event is eco-friendly, we recommend you bring your own bag to collect all the handouts and swag you’ll receive.

Will there be parking or transportation available?
Go to the venue’s site or ticketing page of your specific event for info on parking/transportation for the most up-to-date info. Driving is not advised if you are drinking alcohol. There is always public transit available in the area as well as cab services.

How do I get tickets?

At The Door tickets will be available via the Eventbrite website on your device starting at 9:00 am. VIP tickets will be available until midnight the day before the event and not available at the door. We can not accept cash or credit card at the door.

Can I get a refund if I can’t make the event?
